Quick Pit-Stop Summary · Plain English
The Short Version (In Plain Words)
Here is what happens when you visit EmberRally, written clearly so anyone can check it in under a minute:
You do not need an account. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or age to read our racing guides.
No cookies or trackers. We do not place any cookies or files on your phone, tablet or computer. We do not use analytics or follow you around the web.
Only basic connection logs happen. Whenever your browser loads any website on the internet, it has to send your IP address so the server knows where to send the page back. Our web host records that basic technical connection for a short time to keep the site working and safe from attacks.
No profiling or automated decisions. We do not build profiles about you or use algorithms to decide what you see.
Clicking a game button takes you to another website. When you press "Play on Official Site", you leave EmberRally and go to that game publisher's own website. Those sites have their own privacy rules and cookies.
You have legal rights. If you ever have a question or complaint about your data, you can email us or contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Clause 01 · Data Controller
1. Who Is Responsible for This Website
Under the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller responsible for emberrally.pro is:
Operator & Data Controller: [Operator legal name]
Data Protection & Privacy Email: [Contact email]
Full corporate and postal registration details are also displayed in the footer of every page and on our About & Contact page. If you want to ask a question about this notice or exercise any of your legal rights, you can email us directly at [Contact email].
Clause 02 · Technical Server Logs
2. What Data Is Processed (And Why)
You do not have to give us any personal information to browse EmberRally. We do not have sign-up forms, comment boxes, newsletters or contact forms on the site.
The only personal data processed when you visit is the standard technical server log that every web host creates automatically when a web browser requests a page or image. By the design of the internet, your browser must send your IP address to our server so the server knows where to deliver the page.
Telemetry Aspect
Verified Practice on EmberRally
What is logged
We keep no visitor logs of our own. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical request data: IP address, time of the request, the page requested, and browser and device type.
Why it is processed
To deliver the website pages and artwork to your browser, protect the server against malicious traffic or denial-of-service attacks, and diagnose technical faults or broken links.
Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
Legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR. Our legitimate interests are operating a reliable, fast public web guide, defending our infrastructure against cyber-attacks and fixing technical errors.
How long logs are kept
We keep no server logs. Cloudflare keeps request data only for as long as its privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy) sets out for security and network operations., after which they are automatically overwritten or deleted.
We never combine server logs with any other information to identify you personally, and we do not use server logs for marketing or behavioural analytics.
Clause 03 · Processors & Transfers
3. Who Receives This Data & International Transfers
Technical connection logs are handled on our behalf by our infrastructure and web hosting provider acting as a data processor under a written data processing agreement:
Hosting Provider (Processor): Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The site is delivered from Cloudflare's global network, including data centres outside the UK and Canada; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
Where our hosting provider routes traffic through servers or support operations outside the United Kingdom, any international transfer of technical log data is protected by a lawful safeguard recognised under UK data protection law—specifically a UK Adequacy Regulation (such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable) or the UK Information Commissioner's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) / UK Addendum to the Standard Contractual Clauses.
We do not sell, rent or share server logs with any data brokers, advertising networks or third parties, except where we are strictly required by UK law to respond to a lawful request from a court or law enforcement authority.
Clause 04 · PECR & Device Storage
4. Cookies, Local Storage & Third-Party Content
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), websites must tell you if they store information on, or read information from, your device. EmberRally is built so that nothing is stored on your device:
Zero cookies: We set no first-party cookies and no third-party cookies of any kind (not even "strictly necessary" session cookies).
Nothing in browser storage: We do not write anything to localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or browser caches used for tracking.
No analytics or tracking pixels: We do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts or advertising tags.
No third-party content loaded on our pages: All fonts (Teko and Spline Sans), scripts, stylesheets, illustrations and video on EmberRally are self-hosted on our own domain. Your browser does not connect to third-party font servers, video embeds or social media widgets when loading our pages.
Device preferences respected without storage: Our stylesheet automatically follows your device's light or dark colour scheme and your operating system's reduced-motion setting (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce) using standard CSS media queries right in your browser, without saving any preference file or cookie on your device.
Clause 05 · Article 22 Safeguards
5. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling
We do not carry out any automated decision-making or profiling (as defined in Article 22 of the UK GDPR). Every visitor sees the exact same independent racing guides, verified publisher telemetry strips and stage notes.
Clause 06 · Outbound Launch Links
6. Links to Official Game Websites
EmberRally is an independent guide and does not host or embed playable game files on its own servers. Each featured game—PolyTrack, Moto X3M, Drive Mad, Smash Karts, Madalin Stunt Cars 3, Escape Road, Racing Limits, Traffic Rider and Kart Bros—includes a clearly marked Play on Official Site button that opens the publisher's or developer's official website in a new browser tab.
Once you click an outbound link and leave emberrally.pro, this Privacy & Cookies Notice no longer applies. Those external game websites are operated by independent publishers and platforms who have their own privacy policies, cookie banners, terms of use and data collection practices. As shown in our verified telemetry strips on the home page and in Stage Notes, several of those external game sites display adverts, offer optional accounts or include in-game purchases. We encourage you (and parents or carers) to read the privacy notice on any external site you visit.
Clause 07 · Data Subject Rights
7. Your Data Protection Rights Under UK GDPR
Under UK data protection law, you have the following rights over your personal data:
Right of access: You have the right to ask us whether we hold personal data about you and to request a copy of it.
